Hello,
We are trying to plan our wedding for spring 2013. We like the idea of either a Boston wedding, or someplace maybe on the shore or in a New Englandy town. We would prefer easy transportation for guests which is why Boston would be ideal. We are looking at around 150 guests, many of which are from out of town. Looking forward to hearing from you.

We have not set a date yet but we're hoping for Fall of 2013. I really love the country look and feel of barn receptions! I haven't been able to find much. We live in Manchester, NH and have several guests that may not be able to travel far, so we're looking for something as close as possible. Looking forward to hearing back from you soon, and hopefully finding a beautiful location for our wedding!

I am trying to find a venue for an intimate wedding of thirty close friends and family in Rhode Island or Southern MA. We are planning for October 2013. We have booked Atkinson Country Club in early July and would like an outdoor ceremony. unfortunately, Atkinson does not allow you to have an on site ceremony if you are having an evening reception, which we are. Do you have ANY suggestions at to an outdoor ceremony location within 30 min driving distance?

any ideas for a location to hold a rustic down to earth wedding reception in new england (location flexible but no more than about 3 hrs or so from boston) for 150 people in our big irish families?? budget is an issue since we are paying ourselves! thanks!

My daughter Chase became engaged over the weekend. In searching for the perfect wedding location, I found you. I am very interested in learning about rates, packages and availability for a New England seaside/beach wedding for approximately 225 people.. Chase has decided to pick her date based on finding the right place. We would like to create a Wedding Weekend with activities and different venues. We have families coming from Boston and Fairfield County, CT. A couple of questions ... are there season/off-season rates for wedding receptions and accommodations? And, how many receptions do these venues hold at one time ... one or more? We just want one.

Hi and HELP! I'm new to the MA area and am in desperate need of some "venue searching" help. My fiancee and I are planning a December elopement with a follow up spring celebration (yes! as in 2012). We are flexible so that we can find the perfect location. Like a lot of people below this post, we are also looking for a rustic/barn-ish/country setting. We live about 30 minutes west of Boston and would like to keep it as close to us as possible (my family would be traveling about 3 hours from NY). It will be a smallish celebration (50-60 of our closest friends and family) and not necessarily a conventional reception. Comfy vibe and EXCELLENT food are my highest concerns. ANY direction you can point me in would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!! Thank you in advance :-)

My fiance and I are from north of Boston. We are looking to get married on a Saturday afternoon ceremony (1ish - Outside in a garden/gazebo on property of facility) in October of 2012. We want something with a rustic feel and have been searching for barns, old inns, or halls reconstructed inside to look like a barn atmosphere surrounded by colorful fall trees. We are inviting between 200-250 guests and would also like to have the ceremony on the same site as the reception. So far I have found a few things but anything I really love doesn't have and Saturdays available or is way too expensive on the food packages.

I did like the location on your property page that shows a "Spring Barn" and was wonderng where that was located. Ay other locations you could suggest?

Looking for somewhere to elope. Would love a beautiful outdoor wedding and then to have a bbq party after. Only 4 people including ourselves will be in the wedding itself (maybe our son too who will be 1 but not sure yet) in May 2012. Hi, my fiance and I would like to have a wedding weekend celebration. We envision a nice mansion with beautiful grounds where we coudl pitch a tent. Friday nite rehearsal dinner, Sat nite wedding, Sun bbq. We would like the venue to sleep 20+ but allowing an event on their grounds.
Is there anything like that out there in NE? Please help. Next spring or summer would be great.
